Rosco is a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Not a dog for everyone, but for those who love and understand the breed, there isn't a better dog for them than Rosco! He is the best boy! A very happy, loyal, loving, high energy guy. He's a very smart dog with the typical "happy go lucky" nature of the hound. He is an athlete.....a dog that needs to run and exercise, both his body and his mind. Rosco is getting restless here at the shelter and needs to find a home soon. He would be the perfect hound for someone who has a large, fenced yard, and who would like a daily walking or jogging buddy. His eyes look blue in his picture, but they're not. Either way, he is a VERY handsome, striking dog. We know there's a home out there for Rosco, we just have to find it. That's where we'll need your help. If you aren't looking for the perfect coonhound, you might know of someone who is. If so, please refer them to Rosco, because he's their boy! UPDATE: Rosco's friend, Petula, who went to rescue, has sent sponsorship for him, along with good wishes that he will find a place to go soon.
