Description:
5-26-08 Hi, my name is Nowhere Man, and I'm a male DLH with a beautiful buff coat. Here is my story: A very nice couple found me living in a feral colony and noticed how friendly I was. Well, I came to the shelter and I was in pretty rough shape with matted fur, diarrhea, an upper respiratory infection, plus some nasty fat Kentucky ticks (and I was tested for Lyme's disease). I kept my good humor while being treated for all this stuff and, here's the funny part, they all thought I was a girl. They also thought I was declawed, but there was actually something wrong with my front feet. After a trip to the vet and x-rays and stuff, it seemed I had two broken ankles which hadn't healed properly, hence the funny gait. A further look at my x- rays by an or-tho vet (did I say that right?) showed I actually had severe arthritis. I'm on a daily dose of metacam as an anti- inflamatory/pain management regimen. But you know what, I don't like to think of myself as special needs. I'm just a special guy, period. People come into the shelter and seek me out to give me brushes and loves because I'm such a lover boy. I'm getting to be kind of famous too, because I had my very own thread on Petfinder. Now how many kitties can say that, huh? If you ask nicely, I'll give you a pawprint autograph (suitable for framing), ha, ha. Okay, Here's the deal, my condition isn't curable, so I'll always be like this and a kind of special boy. I don't know what the future holds for me, but I need a loving home and people that will love me for what I am: a very loving cat with a slight disability. Could this special home be yours? Please watch my video and then tell me you're able to resist my Nowhere Man charms. "Nowhere man, please listen, you don't know what you're missing, Nowhere man, the world is at your command." I am, of course, neutered and UTD on my shots.
