About Bentley

  • Location: 213 William Thomason Byway Leitchfield KY 42754 (270) 230-8839
Update February, 2010: Sadly, Bentley is once again available for adoption. The lady that adopted him late last year had to return him to the shelter due to her current living conditions. It had NOTHING to do with Bentley. We'll be working on getting updated photos and videos of him, as well as more info on how he did when he was out of the shelter. And for anyone who wonders after looking at his handsome photos, a friend of the shelter and of Bentley paid to have his DNA tested. The results show that he is at least 75% Boxer.

Suave. Sophisticated. A Man of the world. What James Bond and Bentley have in common. Passionate and adventurous, he has a way with the ladies (see his video with Daisy), yet he also knows how to relax and enjoy the finer things in life - like steak for breakfast. Bentley would like nothing more than a human to walk beside. Get ready for lots of attention, though - he's a real head turner!

Bentley was brought to our shelter in February of 2008 (yes - 2008!) along with Jetta and their very young pups. Jetta and pups were rescued, but Bentley, being the gentleman he is, stayed behind and let the children and ladies get rescued. He is about 4-years-old. Bentley use to run in the field with Daisy (who has now been adopted) and we feel sure he would do well with most females, but he likes being the only man around. As you can see in his videos, he loves to play.

This gentleman has waited SOOO very patiently, SOOO very long, for the happy ending to his sad days at the shelter. Please help him FINALLY get out of here!
