Hi, my name is Azure, an orange boy kittycat (short coat), about one year old (in December 09). I was trapped near city hall, and I must say since Mayor (the unofficial mayor) stopped being in charge of the joint, its gone to heck in a hand basket. I had a bad eyeball, so it was taken out, and I may well be the very first one-eyed, blue eyed orange cat in the world. And its a beautiful azure blue too (hence the name). I'm a rough and tough feral boy, and I'm not looking for cuddlin' and smoochin' and head rubs 'n stuff, just a good old barn home to call my own. Oh, if you want to give me some of that fancy wet food, I won't complain, and even with my one eyeball, I can still spot a mouse from fifty paces away, and it will be sent to mouse heaven quick as a wink (from that selfsame one eye). But look, its so crowded around here, I've got to scram fast, 'cause I don't want to go to heaven right now myself (not for many moons anyhow). Do you have a cool barn for me to hang out in? They'll be takin' care of my neuterin' and that other stuff, so give us a call, won't you?
P.S. Hi y'all, Azure here again. I'm starting to change my mind about that "cuddlin' and smoochin' and head rubs 'n stuff", because I'm becoming friendlier by the day. Could the spirit of the season be changin' my outlook towards the human race? Perhaps I'm aspirin' to more than a barn, so please check back for more mini-blogs from your one-eyed boy. Affectionately yours, Azure
P.S.S. (Jan.6, 2010) Hi y'all! Azure has really turned a page from cage rage, and I'm now gettin' to be one mellow and blue-eyed, and one-eyed orange cat, and the sexiest cat east of the Mississippi. A volunteer carried me around today, and I rubbed on him. I rolled on my back on my royal blue blanket and purred me up a storm. No more barn for me! I want the real McCoy, a home! Love and eager head butts, Azure
