One of the first things people notice about me is that I'm SUCH a soulful looking boy. Perhaps it's because I'm somewhat sad that my owners moved away and left me behind. I don't know why they did that as I'm only a couple of years old and I still have my puppy energy and a hefty appetite. When I first arrived here, I overheard the shelter volunteers say that my coat looked "less than ideal" although I "didn't smell like I had mange" (whatever the heck that is!). I've been treated for it though, just in case. Besides, I want to look my ABSOLUTE best for you! If you watch my video, you'll see that I know the command for "sit" and that I'm not very interested in the dogs that are a mere few feet away from me and barking in the background. The nice people here can test me with other dogs and cats, so feel free to ask. I'll try to be on my very best behavior so that I pass those tests with flying colors! I'd also love to show you the cute tip of my "block head" that I do for the volunteers - the one that makes them so smitten with just how adorable I am. If you're someone that will let me set down roots EVERYWHERE that life takes us - not someone that will simply leave me behind like an expendable piece of the landscape - I'd love to hear from you ASAP!
